It is an honour to welcome you to the National Council of Canadian Tamils’ (NCCT) 2015 Annual Grand Gala. I applaud the work of the NCCT and those that work diligently to advocate on behalf of, and provide a unified voice for, the larger Canadian Tamil community. While events such as tonight’s award ceremony provide an opportunity to recognize the important work of individuals, it also highlights the noteworthy contributions of the Canadian Tamil community as a whole.
